I am sure you can think of even more people to add to your list, can’t you? Each loan is an opportunity for you the Mortgage Loan Originator to reach out and connect in a meaningful and relevant way to everyone involved in your transaction. Everyone of these people is looking for someone to recognize them and appreciate them for who they are and what they offer the world. The door is wide open for you to step through, build a relationship that will grow your business together.
How specifically do we connect with them in a meaningful way, you ask?
We begin by sending a handwritten thank you note to EVERYONE involved in our loan transaction.
We then add them to our data base, follow up with a phone call and then include them in our keep in touch strategy system.
We reach out and find out what is important about life to them. In other words, find out what makes them tick.
Either send them referrals or give them relevant information to assist them in growing their business by attracting more clients.
Trust is built over time. When you build trust you will we receive more referrals.
Remember, we are in the people business! The more people who know who you are and know you help people get financing for residential real estate, the more people will be talking about you and sending you referrals. The choice is yours, you can be invisible or VISIBLE. Which choice will get you more loans?
